Sefton Park apartments, located on Livingston Drive in Liverpool, is a residential development compromising two blocks of twenty-two 2 & 3 bedroom apartments, and four 2 & 3 bed mews houses.
Originally designed by Mersey Design Group (MDG), Manchester architects Material Studio Architects were commissioned by Chrome on behalf of South Liverpool Homes to redesign and resubmit a scheme to the Liverpool City Council. Occupying a former residential children’s home, the site is located in the Lark Lane Conservation Area and is known for its large historic villas and leafy streets. It had remained vacant for a number of years, therefore not contributing anything to the area.
The proposed redevelopment will bring new life to the site and revitalise the conservation area. The scheme provides 100% affordable housing along with accessible properties and a large communal garden.
